Situated in Boquete, Cañas Verdes, a humid and rainy microclimate typical of the tropical rainforest, the coffee farms are cultivated on the slopes of the Barú Volcano National Park. These slopes are fertile, with deep soils of volcanic origin, rich in organic content and excellent drainage to minimise erosion.
With native trees that grow in harmony with the abundant flora and fauna, the farm is protected from the rays whilst respecting the environment. Though sunlight is a key element in the process, solar radiation is powerful in this strategic geographic location. In the mornings and evenings this is intercepted by a soft tropical mist known locally as Bajareque.
The results are fully developed cherries with an optimal sugar intensity, enriching the flavour of the grain.
This coffee encapsulates the classic and clean taste profile of a washed Geisha, while reminiscent of Stewed Peaches, Orange Blossom and Honeysuckle.
Process: Double Phase Washed
Varietal: Geisha
Origin: Boquete, Panama
Tasting Notes: Stewed Peach, Orange Blossom, Honeysuckle
Suitable for filter
Available only in 150 grams
Recommended to rest beans for 7-10 days from roast date before consuming
